The 53-year-old Italian, who previously spent over a decade shaping Atletico Madrid’s squad, has reportedly agreed to join the Gunners and is expected to start work as soon as his contract is finalised. With no concerns over breaching the Premier League's profit and sustainability regulations, Arsenal are ready to invest heavily, as reported by . Berta is believed to be targeting reinforcements across multiple positions, including a back-up goalkeeper, left-back, defensive midfielder, left-winger, striker, and cover for Bukayo Saka.
