Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller is reportedly 'interested' in a move to Major League Soccer amid speculation over his future in Germany.

The Germany and Bayern legend is already into the final year of his contract at Allianz Arena and will become a free agent in the summer of 2025, with no sign of a renewal being agreed as yet. Per , Muller could consider bringing the curtain down on his illustrious playing career at the end of the 2024-25 campaign. It has been suggested Muller could take up a management position at the club, but he is also considering moving into punditry.

The report further claims that the 35-year-old could consider prolonging his career outside of Europe, as he has attracted interest from some MLS clubs. The American league currently boast of having some of the top football stars, albeit at the twilight of their careers, like Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez. With the 2026 World Cup closing in – which will be held in the USA, Mexico and Canada – a new challenge in MLS is said to appeal to Muller.
